Healthy Learning Academy is an elementary charter school less than a mile out of town on Newberry Road near Jonesville. Meadowbrook Elementary, Kanapaha Middle School, and Buchholz High School are also all close. There are two private schools for children K–12 within a 3.5 miles radius, Oak Hall and Queen of Peace Academy. College students have a short drive to Santa Fe College and the University of Florida.
