Schools

Several schools in the area cater to children of all ages. KidWorks Playschool is in the Town of Tioga. Healthy Learning Academy is an elementary charter school less than a mile out of town on Newberry Road near Jonesville. Meadowbrook Elementary, Kanapaha Middle School, and Buchholz High School are also all close. There are two private schools for children K–12 within a 3.5 miles radius, Oak Hall and Queen of Peace Academy. College students have a short drive to Santa Fe College and the University of Florida.

Every school has a diverse curriculum that covers basic subjects, fine arts and electives. Dudley Farm Historic State Park, home of the annual fall sugar cane festival, is worth the visit. The Jonesville Park and Sports Complex also have a fitness trail, a children's playground, and a pavilion with picnic facilities for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
